Tracery, next season at the Southcourt Stud. The numerous purchases of Mr. Selby — twentv-seven in all — were safely shipped by the Interna tional Horse Agency and Exchange on the Manhattan. This is a bit of a record, having regard to the multiplicity of permits, certificates, forms and declarations which have to be obtained for each pertteasar animal before shipment is possible. Among Mr. Bettys shipment is the fine yearling eolt by Colin out of Acalot, by Pioneer, ttoiight by-Mr. Welsh at the sales for 500 guineas, but afterward transferred by him to Mr. Selby at a substantial profit.
