NATHAN R. DEFEATS SPEEDY IMPERATOR. Havana. Culia. January s. -The greatly improved sprinter Nathan R. scored another iiupre-ssive victory at Oriental Park this afternoon when he beat Im-perator in the feature race, a dash of five and a half furlongs. Nathan B. wa« recently purchased by a local dentist. L C. Mizell. and todays effort w:as his first one in his new owners colors. Nathan R. won BeiM away and established a new track record of LOO,. Jockey C. Turner was an arrival this morning and will have his tirst mount em Tuesday next. Dakota ran away a mile while on his way to the poM in the- third race. This horse has done the same thing before and the stewards ordered that his furl her entry be refused unle-ss he is led to the post and charged the usual fee. Jockey F. Williams lost bis whip on Paulson at the half mile post in the first race.
