Sheridan was almost entirety made up of horses bred by A. B. Spreck-rls in California and fared well in the way of money won. The star of the stable was the excellent sprinter, I5aek Bay. which won something more than half of the stables total. The defeats inflicted on lnn Zareta by this fleet horse was one of The marked features of the Canadian racing campaigns of 1014 and 1015. HI brother, Rubicon II.. was also an inmate of the Sheridan stable, but was nothing like the racer his elder brother was.
