, JOYNER MAY JOIN THE OWNERS. New York. February 4. — A. J. Joyner, who is still in New Vork, intimated today that he would in all probability buy two or three good horses for racing purposes this year. "All the big racing establishments have trainers." said Mr. Joyner. "and it is monotonous for au active man like me to have little or nothing to occupy my mind after thirty-two years of training horses. The hardest proposition is to buy horses than can win. but I guess I can pick up two or three in the spring." Jesse Lewisohn intends making a trip to Arkansas shortly. He is improving considerably in health ami may take in the racing at Hot Springs, if a meeting is held there. Judge John Graham, who is quite a racing enthusiast, left for Daytona, Fla., yesterday. He is recovering steadily from his recent illness. Judge Graham is prominent in Nassau County politics.
