-t +1 HORSES WHICH WON IN THE COLORS OF E. HERZ IN THE RACING OF 1915 1, h. For several years prior to 1915 Emil Herz had maintained a small racing stable in England with a fair measure of success. The oncoming of the great war brought many discomforts to turfmen and led to his leturn to this country, where a number of years ago he raced extensively and yvas part owner of the high-ttaaa horse, McChesney. Prior to coming himself he sent his useful handicap horse. Short Grass, to this country. With him he achieved the most important successes that fell to him in our racing of last year. Here he acquired possession of a good colt in Eagle and the two-year-old Daddys Choice, both of which won good races for him, his stable record for the year being: Horse. Col. and Ses. A.
