, . , , I i I J j DISTINGUISHED ARRIVALS FROM ABROAD. Xew Vork. February 7. — The Atlantic trauspo.t liner Minnehaha arrived from London with tweaty-seven thoroughbreds in good condition. The shipment includes six two-year-olds for F. Ambrose Clark, four being fillies and two colts. Both l be colts are by Dark Ronald, one being a brown ami the other a bay. Nine broodmares arrived for W. R. Coe. Aceerd-Ing to the breeding of their ancestors, nearly all of which were stake winners during their career . they are a choice collection and will add areetlr to the thoroughbred blood of this country. Following is the list: Fair Maid, bv Orvieto — Tirara, in foal to Myraui: Laushaway. by Cicero — Chaffaway. in foal to Primer: Mavis, by Missel Thursh — Melete, in foal to Land League: Home Bird, by Thrush — Mouev Holme, in foal to Willonyx: Isette, in foal to Bridge of Allan: earner, in foal to Winstanloy; Binary Belle, in foal to Cicero; Berenice, in foal to Valens: Catacomb, by Ladas — Mystic Shade, in foal to Stedfasl. The offspring of all these mares have been nominated for the Futurity of 1818 by Mr. Coe. They have been shipped direct to Silverbrook Farm at ShreAshury, X. J., which has been leased or purchased by W. F. Presgrave and E. E. Burnett. Six yearlings for Jeffeisoii Livingston are a tine band, being larger than many two-year-olds which have been shipped across the Atlantic this winter. There is not a small or sertiby one in the half dozen and nearly, or quite, without exception they show exceptional quality. They are as follows: Black filly by Cherry Kiag — Desinona: black filly by Royal Ann: bay celt by Day Comet — Beautiful Sight: brown colt by Ampelion — Potamides; bay colt by Fugelniau — De-. licia. A four-year-old chestnut colt has been sent over for J. P. Kirlin and he will be shipped to that gentlemans country home in Locust Valley.
