There are nine, all by Yon Tromp. including Palisade, a tilly out of Andrewetta: Brooklyn, a colt out Of lion sells Chelsea, a tilly out of Candle-wick: Hudson, a colt oat of Dubarry: Harlem, a colt out of .Tourdain: Manhattan, a filly out of Moibsia: Riverside, a cdt out of Rosegal: River-dale, a olt 01, t of Ruth W.. and Spinster, a fillv oat of Spinnsa. These are the product of tho mares Mr. Whitney bought from Walter R. Jennings and. not wishing to nee horses for the time being, turned them over to Sandy MeNaughton. who is quartered at Gravesend. Jatnes Rowi . who ha- charge of the horses belonging to H. P. Whitney, has just returned from a visit to Kentui ky where lie went to bxik over the stock in charge of Albert Simons. He says all are iloing well. Joe Notter and T. McTaggart have been engaged to ride for the Whitney stable this year. Frederick Johnson has ju-t returned from a ples-uro trip through California.
