McNAUGHTON NOT TO RACE AT BOWIE. New York. March 21. -Sandy McNnughton will ship his string of thoroughbreds from Gravesend to Havre de Grace Saturday. It was his intention to make a start at Bowie, but the severe spring weather has made it Impossible for him to get his horses ready. At that McKaughtons string is in much better condition than many of the oth rs on Long Island, for the reason that lo- has Teen sending all his charges along in smart shed Work all through the cold weather. lie has not permitted them to fill up and become fat. and while each one in the string is big and strong. the] are all solid and in a condition to make fast work possible. It is Mr. McNaughtons Intention to be ready for his best showing at the Pimll o meeting id the Maryland Jockey club. though lie expects to earn his way at the Harford 1 oin.t. track.
