IMPROVEMENTS PLANNED FOR BOWIE. Baltimore. Md., April 10.— Now that the legislature has adjourned and racing is safe for at least two years more, the Bowie management is going ahead witli its plans for improvements. Manager OHara today showed blue prints for an addition to the grandstand and said that a clubhouse would be built next fall. The Pennsylvania railroad has looked over the ground, preparatory to putting in a spur which will land passengers directly at the grandstand. It will cost 5,000 to put in this spur aud the rail-ruud is ready to go ahead.
