DISTINGUISHED ARRIVALS IONG EXPECTED DURYEA HOESES REACH NEW YORK FROM FRANCE IN SAFETY. Three-Year-Olds, Two-Year-Olds and Yearlings by Irish Lad, Sweeper II. and Othar Sires Make Up the Band of Thirty -Three. Now York. April 10. -Thirty-three thoroughbreds ltelonging tn the estate of the late Herman 15. Duryea arrived hero today on the Mongolian from London. The widow of the noted American horseman and a number of friends were among the first jit the Atlantic transport dock when the ship arrived. The horses came in charge of Peter Fleming, who went over to Trance two months ago and accompanied them to England, from whence they MM shipped ten days ago. In MM consignment are thirteen two -year -olds, seventeen yearlings and three three-year-olds. Crimper raced in Kngland and showed promising form as a two-year-old. They have been in training this spring. The majority of the new arrivals are by Irish Lad and Sweeper II. is the next sire in point of numbers. El Dincro. one of the three-year-olds, is by Knelt — llerodia. Crimper started four times in Kngland. The youngsters shipped in splendid condition.
