STAKE PROGRAM OF THE RENO MEETING. Secretary and Manager J. A. Schas of the Bono Fair and Bacing Association has made public the stake program of the Bono summer meeting and, population considered, it is a decidedly liberal offering. The meeting is to open July 1 and continue for nineteen racing days. Eight stake races to close for entries June 15. are proffered for the consideration of horsemen, of which the Nevada Derby is the principal item. The events in the order of their value are the following: Nevada Derby, three-year-olds; value ,500; one and one-eighth miles. Keno Business Mens Handicap, three-year-olds and over: value ,000; one mile. Opening Handicap, three-year-olds and over; value ,000; three -quarters mile. Independence Handicap, three -year -olds and over; value ,000: one mile. Golden Gate Stakes two-year-olds; value ,000; four and one-half furlongs. Juvenile Stakes, two-year-olds; value ,000: five-eighths mile. Overland Handicap, three-year-olds and over; value 00; three-quarters mile. Biverside Handicap, three-year-olds and over; value 0t; one mile. Purses will be of 00 or more and on those days on which no stake races are to be run. overnight special races of or more will be provided. It is intended that ;i fall meeting, also of nineteen days, will be held at Beno in Octolier. Entries are to be mailed to Mr. Schas, who is an efficient and up-to-date official.
