FORT ERIES ATTRACTIVE STAKE LIST. Buffalo, N. Y.. April 19. — J. H. Madigan. president of the Niagara Bacing Association has returned to Buffalo from his usual winter sojourn in Texas and has announced the stake list for the two seven-day meetings to be held at Fort Erie this y« ar. During the first meeting of July 4 to 11. the following stakes will be run: Fourth of July Stakes, a handicap with SI. 500 added, for three-year-olds and over; one mile and seventy yards. Niagara Stakes, with ,500 added, for two-year-olds, at five-eighths. Canadian Derby, with ,500 added, for three-year-olds, at one mile and a quarter. Fort Erie Stakes, selling, with ,500 added, for three -year -olds and over, at three-quarters. The Dominion Handicap, with ,000 added, for three-year-olds and over, at one mile and a quarter, will lie the chief event of the second meeting from August 5 to 12. The other stakes to be run during the second meeting include the Iroquois Hotel Stakes, a handicap witii ,500 added, for two-year-olds, at five and a half furlongs, and the Edward W. Maginn Memorial Handicap, with 11,9*0 added, for three-year-olds and over, at one mile and a sixteenth.
