PLAN AUTUMN RACING AT HOT SPRINGS. The owners of Kssex Park. Hot Springs, Ark., have held a consultation with th" business interests of the city and they find an unanimous sentiment in favor of fall racing. As a consequence. Mr. Samuel Davis and his associates, owners of Kssex P: rk. have formed an organization to hold a twenty-one days meeting opening on Thanksgiving Day and continuing to the holidays and before the opening at Xew Orleans. Kssex Park is a beautiful plant witli a first-class mile track and a f ive-eiglitiis mile chute. The soil was originally brought tiiere for racing and the turf growth has kept it in good condition. A contract lias been let for the building of 300 i new stalls, and these, with 310 stalls now there. will accommodate over 500 horses. Arrangements will Is- made with the Pock Maai railroad to give them a ten minutes service to the track. In addition to this, there is an excellent automobile driveway dircet to the gates. It is the int-ntion of the Kssex Park management to senile the best or racing officials and a high-class meeting will lie conducted. The entire plant will be overhauled thoroughly and ready for the reception of hMM by Xo- ember 1. Oaklawn will give its usual spring meeting in 1 March of next year.
