SISTER SUSIE closed a big gap and finished fast. PEACH BLOSSOM was prominent most of the way. COMBEY tired after racing well to the stretch. AFTO-BELL ran well. Overweights — John W. BEDTIME STORIES raced into a long lead soon after the start, but tired after rounding into the stretch. MAY W. swerved and tried to run out on the first turn, but fin-ished fast. MONSIEUR PERCI trailed badly to the last eighth and finished with a belated rush. KORFHAGE set the early pace, but tired fast in the stretch.
