Won cantering; second and third driving. TOREADOR, always under stout re straint, moved into the lead at the end of three miles and drew away with ease. MISS MEADOWS finished gamely and held second place easily. THE LIMIT was messed about considerably and also ran out of the course after taking the ninth jump. OXYGEN also went out of the course with THE LIMIT. NINA was always outrun. Scratched— Gold Pitcher, 157. WEB CARTER showed the most early speed, but was no match .for the winner. COUREUR DE BOIS ran a farily good race. FATTAUTA jumped a wing at the third obstacle and was pulled up. OVERSEER made the running, but quit in the last quarter.
