A. BELMONTS NOTABLE BACING ACCESSIONS. New York. May !. --August Belmonts racing string for the coming season will lie strongly reinforced by the arrival at the end of the week of the steamship Man-huria. which carries an important cargo of thoroughbreds bred at the stud of the chairman of the Jockey Club at Haras de fillers, Foucarmont, France. In the consignment are eight three-year-olds destined to carry tile Belmont colors, as soon as they can tie trained for the races. All are colts, as the French government refuses to permit the exportation of fillies owing to the war. The government desires to keep in France all the mares, so that the great bleeding studs may be rehabilitated after peace has been declared. These three-year-aMs will be iseut to trainer Samuel Hildrctli at Belmont Park, where they will b.- prepared for the coming campaign, while the veurlings. thirteen in nunilier. will !"■ sent direct to the Nursery Stud of Mr. Belmont, which is located near Lexington. Ky. Ampere, a bay colt by Ethelbert. is a half-brother to Amoreaux, a good winner in Frame, wl.ile Yalais is a half-brother to Yulcain. Viewpoint is a brother to tin-good racer Heck View, a winner of considerable money in Mr. Belmonts colors and now in the stud in Kentucky. Among the yearlings is Beauniarais. a brown colt by Alcantara . at of Quclle Est Belle, winner of the French Oaks, ami Bistouri. a bay colt by Tracery — Ballot -bred, the first foal of the fianii Bel lame, should give a good account of themselves.
