CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. W. It. Coe is racing his horses 1n his own name this season, dropping the noin de course of the Shoshone Stable which lie used last season. James Fitzsimmons lias thirty-three horses belonging to various owners in his stable. This is the biggest string in the hands of any eastern trainer. J. If. Shilling is shipping Goldy, George W. Kis-ker. Gordon Kussell. Koeman. Petit Bleu. Orlin Kripp, Viso and Marcus from Tijuana to Montreal for the Dorval Park meeting. W. II. Karrick does not expect to race any of the horses he is training until tin- Belmont Park meeting o|H*ns. He is pointing S. I.. Parsons Phosphor and Sharpshooter for the MetroiKilitan Handicap. T. Da vies and B. Washer will lie the stable riders. The latter is an eighty -five -pound lightweight. A. B. Sadie S. is the dam of a promising two-year-old colt by Ballot in the stalde of Willis Shariie Kilmer of Ring-liamton, X. Y.. and she will lie sent to Ballot again this year. Sadie S. was one of the starters in the American Derby of 1901, won by Kobert Waddell. Carr and Piatt sold the following yearlings this week: To M. C.
