BOOKER BILL set the pace briefly and, after lieing passed, gained steadily through the last eighth, but barely outstayed JERRY. The latter dropi ed back in the first quarter, but finished fast and gamely. TILLOTSON, under hard urging, raced into the lead on the last turn, but tired badly in the last eighth. A. C. HALEY closed a good gap in the last quarter. DASH showed speed. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 25580 Falls City, 107; 261S7 Miss Atkin, 102. Overweights — Jerry. 3 pounds. LITTLE SPIDER tired badly in the last eighth after setting a fast early pace. JAMES was away poorly. ROYAL TEA began slowly, but was going fastest at the end after having closed a big gap. UNCLE JIMMIE tired in the last sixteenth after lieing prominent all the way. CASH ON DELIVERY also tired. CARMEN ran a good race and finished fast. THE GRADER was «/ut off right at the end. LEO RAY finished fast and might have won if ab le to get through in the last sixteenth. ROYAL 11. was also going fast at the finish. OLD KOENIG tired. ONE STEP acted fractiously at the post and was away badly. WATERBLOSSOM set a gr eat pace to the stretch and tired under her weight. HARD BALL closed an immense gap in the last quarter into a close up third. FLITAWAY ran fairly well ST. CHARLCOTE quit. BILLOWS had to race wide and tired badly. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to 05 and bought in. Scratched — 26090 Mabel Dulweber, 106. Overweights — St. Charlcote, 1% pounds.
