BILLY JOE was saved, under restraint, until in the last quarter, then drew out with the utmost ease to win as his rider pleased. MORRISTOWN was forced back in the first few strides and gained steadily into a game second. MEX tired after showing the most early si eed. FIDGET ran well. MISS MINN wheeled at the start. WATER WITCH suffered from interference and ran well, but tired slightly near the end. BRYNLIMAH was taken back in the first quarter and failed to respond to strong urging in the stretch.
