COMMENSIA began slowly and was shuffled back at the start, but worked her way up on the outside and, gaining steadily, outgamed ASTROLOGER to win going away. The latter set a good p;ioe, but tired and swerved over to the inside in the last sixteenth. TITO finished with a rush. LOCHIEL also finished fast. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. FRESHET showed the most early speed, but tired. KENTUCKY ROY, a backward colt, began slowlv and was forced wide all the way. The winner, entered for 00, was claimed by II. G. Bedwell under the conditions of the race for 45. . .
