REINSTATEMENT OF JOSEPH KNIGHT. New York. June 17. — Secretary Charles F. Plynn. of the Cuba-American Jockey Club, which operates the Oriental Talk race track at Havana, today announced the reinstatement of Jospeh Knight, who in March. MI, was "ruled off the turf" by the stewards at Oriental Park. This action, it is understood, comes as a result of a renewed investigation of the circumstances currounding the so-called Gold Cap-Yellow Eye* race ..f March 4. 1915. which re suited in the original ruling against Knight. The then stewards. Major T. C. McDowell. Charles II. I.nusdale ami I*. A. Brady, are unanimous in approving Knights reinstatement, of which Secretary Flyiui has notified the various jockey clubs and turf governing bodies. At the same time it was made known that jockey Henry Wolfe, whom the Havana stewards ruled off at the same time as Knight in their investigation of the race in question, was reinstated at Havana several months ago.
