Won driving: second and third the same. VIXEN set a good pace and held her opponents safe, but had to Is- hard ridden through the final eighth to withstand ALONK AT LAST. The latter was hard urged throughout and came wide when en-teriing the homestretch, but responded gamely to punishment and was wearing the leader down at the finish. JITNEY was green and began slowly, but saved ground on the final turn and was going fastest of the leaders in the final drive. OLD DRURY had no mishaps. MISS TIPPEKAKY showed speed. SHYNESS set the pace under slight restraint and. drawing away in the final eighth when challenged, was going away at the end. G. M. MILLER closed up menacingly while rounding the far turn, but came wide when entering the homestretch, then came again under vigorous riding and outstayed OLD BROOM. The latter was always under pressure and finished gamely. The winner, enterd for 00, was bid up to ,205 and bought in. RONKISS raced into a long lead while rounding the far turn, but finally tired badly under punishment. NARMAR ran well and easily disposed of the others in the homestretch. BEAU OF MENLO set the early pace and tired badly. The winner was entered for SSOO: no bid.
