CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. Slumber II. has gone lame. The 0. C. Rascli stable has been shipped to Saratoga. Foxhall P. Keenes string of horses has beeu shipped to Saratoga from Sheepshead Bay. Louis Feustel shipped twelve horses from Belmont Park to Saratoga Thursday, and James K. Frayling took his steeplechasers on the same train. J. Sheridan, owner of Resistible and other horses, has obtained a contract on the services of N. Huff, a jockey from across the Atlantic. Huff can ride at 10S. Foxhall P. Keenes horses which have been stabled at Gravesend since last autumn, were walked over to Sheepshead Bay Thursday afternoon and loaded into one of the big steel horse cars which tlie Adams Express company had provided for their transportation to Saratoga. There were eight of them in all. C. K. G. Billings famous trotters and other harness horses were shipped from Oyster Bay to Saratoga Thursday. Although Mr. Billings has been investing liberally in high-priced thoroughbreds within tlie last year, he is still greatly interested in his trotters and pacers. Some of these he sends out on the Grand Circuit, but others, including the priceless Uhlan, he keeps for his own riding and driving. This year lie will give interesting exhibitions between races at Saratoga, and among the most interesting of these will be his exhibition of Uhlan under saddle, Mr. Billings being one of the best, if not the best, of the riders of trotters uuder saddle to be found anywhere in this country.
