DECIDE TO ADHERE TO DATES SELECTED. Windsor, Out.. August 9. Word was received today from the officials of Windsors new race track, Kenilworth, by president F. . Johnson of the Windsor and North Essex Agricultural Society, that no change will be made in the dates already announced for the first meeting of the new track. President Johnson said that the executive of the agricultural society had requested the race people to alter their dates to prevent the opening from clashing with the first day of the fair, and he intimated this evening that the organization of which he is the head has not yet finished with the matter. It is hinted that the agricultural societies of Ontario may unite in taking joint action to test the right of race associations to hold meetings on the same day as agricultural societies, which are officially recognized by the provisional government. J. Lockio Wilson, head of all the Ontario agricultural associations, has advised president Johnson not to permit the Kenilworth Jockey Club to hold their meeting without putting up a fight.
