HORSES AND RIDERS INJURED IN ACCIDENT. Tpronto. Out., August 9. A bad accident marked the closing day of racing at Dufferin Park. As the field rounded the last bend in the first race Sir Raymond fell. Rocky OBrien. Dr. Barnardo and Bat Masterson fell over him, piling up riders and horses in a struggling heap. Bat Masterson was so badly injured he was destroyed. Jockey Donii-nick suffered painful injuries to his leg and McGraw had his shoulder hurt. The other boys escaped with a shaking up. Insurance Man. heavily backed, won the eighth race in easy style. Abdul, Miss Frances and Sor-dello were winners that came from unexpected quarters. In fact, only one decided choice was succes-f til. The riding of jockey J. Acton was a feature. He piloted three winners. Undaunted showed surprisingly improved form with a change of jockeys. AVilliam AAalker today traded to William Short Servlcence for Ada Anne. It is Mr. Walkers intention to make a br.odmare of Ada Anne.
