GROWING LIVELY AT LEXINGTON. Lexington. Ky., Aug. 18. Superintendent James P. Ross today received a large number of applications for stable room for the fall meeting, which is to open AVednesday, September 0. Mose Gold-blatt registered his by long distance telephone from Detroit and reserved stalls for fourteen horses, among them several owned by Jefferson Livingston, Herman Brandt also has reserved stalls for eight of the Livingstons horses. E. R. Bradleys reservation is for twelve horses. .1. S. AVard will bring twelve from Saratoga. AV. .T Young will ship fourteen from the Spa .and John AV. Schorr will come with sixteen. Other reservations are for A . It. Baker, who will bring twenty horses from Latonia. Kap Spence nine, AV. Hurley four and .1. H. Baker eight. With the exception of a half dozen horses in the stable of AVilliams Pros., which are recovering from sickness contracted in shipping, the racers, old and young, at the local track, are all in fine health and bodily condition. Captain Rees,.Lm-broidery. John Jr., AVesty Hogan. Chalmers, Hawthorn, Grover Hughes. Aogue, AValter II. Iearee, Mav AV., Lucky R., Ressanta, Uncle nart. Howdy Howdv, Intone. Piatt, Sleeper, Margaret O., Honr-bon Lass. Cardome, Al M. Dick, Tom Jr., Disillusion, Opportunity, Miss Kruter and Anna Kruter were on the track this morning and they are going well. AVesty Hogan moves as though he lias .entirely recovered from the injury incurred in his race for the Breeders Futurity and John Whitlow, his owner, says he is now as sound as a bell. R. II. Anderson, owner of the Tea s Over Stud and poastmaster of Georgetown, was here today and sold a couple of yearling brown colts by Dick Finnell. A brother to Frederick L., out of Huxie, he sold to Dan Mulholland for ,000, and a brother to Tom Jr., out of Octave, went to John Whitlow for ,000. He has four others, one a sister to Xettie AValcutt, which he may train. A bav flllv bv Sweep Resignation, owned by S. K. Hughes worked an eighth in 13 at the first asking this morning. She is half sister to four good racers.
