AVon driving; second and third the same BURLESQUE- away slowly, displayed brilliant speed and raced into a clear lead at the eighth lost but was tiriiij; in the closing strides. BERLIN set a fast early pace and, racing forwardly through out, hung on gamely in the linal drive. KILLDEE raced close up and finished fast. RIAERDALE was forced to race wide all the way and finished fastest of all. AVISTFUL was in close quarters on the far turn and tired when called on for a linal effort. SANDOW, after being saved in front under restraint, responded gamely when called 011 in the linal drive and drew clear in the last sixteenth under hard urging. MARCH COURT ran well back behind the leaders and met with repeated interference in the linal half, but finished fast and outstayed J. C. EWAIr when clear. .1. C. EWALT raced into the lead under pressure, but tired in the final drive. RACEBROOIv was under a hard pull from the start ami raced extremely wide all the way. The winner was entered for ,200; no bid. Won driving; second and third the same. FRIZZLE, after racing in close pursuit of the leaders, came fast htrough the stretch and won going away. BLIND BAGGAG E soon took the lead and ran a fast three-quarters, hut tired badly when challenged. HARRY SHAAV was forced wide in the early running but slipped through next to the rail in the stretch and finished fast. SAND MARSH had a rough time and ran an excellent race. HANK ODAY met repeated interference in the early running and could never get through in the homestretch. GNAT ran well. SIR JOHN JOHNSON and FEMINIST were always outpaced. GOLDCREST P.OY was hard ridden through the final quarter and, gaining steadily, would h-ive won in another stride. BLACK COFFEE ran well and easily held the otiiers safe at the end.
