Won driving; second and third the same. CAMPFIRE, after being saved under slight restraint in the early running, moved up rapidlv in the homestretch and, showing great gameness in the final drive, outstayed OMAR KHAYYAM. The "latter began badly and was forced to race extremely wide throughout, but finished with a belated rush and was going fastest of the leaders at the finish. STAR MASTER had no mishaps, was under pressure for the entire way and gamely outstayed RICKETY in the closing strides. The latter came wide on the stretch turn and tired after getting to the leaders in tln stretch. JFLIALEOX raced into the lead on the last turn, hut tired. ROAMER saved ground on all the turns and made a game effort in the final eighth, hut tired in the closing strides.
