INTERESTING SPORT AT HAVRE DE GRACE. Flittergold First in the Feature Race of the Day Bonnie Witch Caught in the Barrier. Raltimore, 3Id., September 25. A goodly crowd braved the cold weather at Havre de Grace today. A handicap for three-year-olds and one that served as the feature brought out a good field. G. A. 3Iullers Flittergold proved best and accounted for the race in easy fashion, lie was reserved behind the early leaders to the stretch, then moved up under urging, drew away in the final eighth and held Venetia safe in the final drive. Sin; was the victim of an unfortunate mishap, being caught in the rise of the barrier and got away several lengths behind her opponents. Notter took her to the front after going the first quarter, but she tired badly when caught. .7. W. Hedrick became active immediately after the running of the first race, when he ran up the winner.
