PRISCILLA MULLENS, off slowly, finished with a rush after making a wide turn into the homestretch, but got up to win in the final strides. CREPUSCULE was green at the barrier and began flatfooted, but closed a big gap and tired after going to the front while rounding the, far turn. STARTER raced well but tired in the stretch drive. PERPETUAL followed the early pacemakers to the stretch turn, from where he moved up fast and steadily and, easily passing the leaders, drew away into a long lead. PATTY REGAN began slowly but gained steadily and outstayed CHAD BUFORD. The latter was forced wide on the first turn and ran a good race. CORN BROOM set a good pace to the stretch and tired. BELLE MAIIONE moved up fast 011 the outside of the leaders on tiie stretch turn, and was gradually gaining at the end. CAPTAIN B. set a fast pace foi; the first half, but tired near the finish. SILK BIRD was a forward contender from the start but tired after racing into the lead. FAIR MONTAGUE ran a good nice, but tired in the last eighth. TARTAREAN finished fast.
