THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS. Leading rider .7. 3IcTaggart only guided four winners last week, while his closest pursuers, F. Robinson and F. Murphy, each rode eight, thereby creeping up appreciably closer to him. At the close of the week he had an advantage of only nine winning mounts more than Robinson. Another rider who added eight wins to his score was the rising lightweight. II. II. Phillips, and Lykes lacked but one of that number. Eddie Taplin has resumed riding and is now in a position to join the group of riders with a credit of over a hundred winning mounts in 1910. Last year only three jockeys rode a hundred or more winners. This year five have already achieved that measure of fame in their calling, with a probability that Taplin, II. Shilling and D.
