KILTS raced into a long lead while rounding the lower turn and vas eased up through the final eighth. STORM NYMPH swerved over to the inner rail in the early running, but finished gamely when straightened out and outstayed SUPERNAL in the final drive. SUPERNAL was hard ridden and gained in the early running, but tired in the final drive. PATAPSCO showed early speed. ED WEISS was a forward contender all the way and easily held the others safe. CLIFF HAVEN closed a gap and, finishing gamely through the homestretch, outstayed WOODFAIR. LITTLE ENGLAND ran poorly in the going. SANDHILL was eased back after the start and not persevered with. INFIDEL II. quit after setting the early pace.
