MORE ABOUT THE DAM OF HURRY ON. A correspondent sends us some interesting particulars concerning Tout Suite, the dam of Hurry On, which won the September Stakes at Newmarket. She came up as a yearling at the sale of some of Mr. W. F. de Wend-Fentons horses at Lingfield in November, 1905, and R. Gore, the Fendon trainer, purchased her for 105 guineas on behalf of Mr. W. Murland, the breeder of Hurry On. At the time she was more like a perfectly-made thoroughbred pony than anything else, and, on seeing her at Findon, Mr. Murland was rather disappointed with his bargain and decided to send her to Ireland. On the County Meath grass she developed into quite a "big little un," and when she foaled Hurry On in 1913 measured just under fifteen hands. She was barren the two following seasons and died soon afterwards. London Sportsman.
