MARCH COURT was well saved until in the last mile, then responded with a rush when called on and easily passed into a long lead in the last quarter. SUSAN B. was a close contender all the way and outstayed RACEBROOK. The latter was too much used in the early racing and tired in the last half. CYNOSURE fell at the fifth jump and PROMOTER broke down and was pulled up after taking the tenth. The winner, entered for 700, was bid up to 900 and sold to 3. W. Iledrick. LEOCHARES began with the leaders, but immediately dropped back to last place, then finished with a belated rush. SIR EDGAR raced well and outgamed STARTLING in the final drive. The latter raced well, but tired after getting to the pacemaker. DOLINA set a fast pace, but was made too much use of in the early running and tired. OROTUND and RAY O LIGHT finished close up. The winner, entered for 800, was bid up to 1,305 and bought in. Overweights Orotund, 1 pound.
