STILL IN TROUBLE AT NEW ORLEANS. New Orleans, La., October 10. Mayor Martin ii Bohrman today stated that H. D. Brown would not t be able to operate the City Park race track from a November 30 to Mardi Gras Day, February 0. Mr. Brown, in a statement issued Saturday night, declared - that he would begin racing at the City Park t track on Thanksgiving Day and run continuously y until the Mardi Gras carnival is over. Brown has s refused to accept the latest offer of the Business s Mens Racing Association for the City Park track. "There will be no race meeting to extend from Thanksgiving day to Mardi Gras day. There will 1 be no ten-day meetings," said Mayor Martin U Rehrman. Told that it had been noised about in sporting S circles that he was playing favorites with Mr. Brown, Mayor Behrman said: "I have played no 0 favorites, but if I should play favorites, my favorites would be home people." Joseph A. Murphy, racing manager of the Business Mens Racing Association, is expected here tonight.
