ATTRACTIVE AND LIBERAL STAKE OFFERING FOR THE I COMING NEW ORLEANS MEETING A : 1 Not since the days of winter racing in California and at Jacksonville, Fla., has such a winter stake program been put forth for the consideration of OAvners as that hoav tendered by the Business Mens Racing Association of New Orleans. In fact, it is better than many of the summer stake programs of a number of the northern racing organizations. In all fifteen stakes are proffered, of which tAAo are for three-year-olds and the others for three-year-olds and over. They Avill all close for entries but a few days before their running. Of this the association says: This is an advantage both AA-ays. It gives the association the use of all available material and it saves the horsemen from the burden of forfeits for sick or crippled horses." Entrance and starting fees are small. To the ,000 added Crescent City Handicap it is 5 to enter and 5 more to start. To the ,000 Hotel Mens Handicap, 0 to enter and 5 more to start. To the ,000 added Rex Handicap it is 0 to enter and 5 more to start. To all the others it is to enter and 0 more to start. Since no stall rent, entrance fees to purses or declaration fees from purses is charged for, it Avill be an inexpensive place to race.
