LONG TIME BETWEEN WINNINGS. When Sandbar, the five-year-old son of Rock Sand and Velocity, came home in front in the fifth race at Prince Georges Park today, it marked his first success since he won the Hamilton Derby of 1914. On that day he beat such good horses as Waterbass and David Craig, but never since that day has he been able to win a purse. His activities In the long interval were somewhat restricted by the unsoundness which prevented his trainer, "Little Mike" Daly, from bringing him to the post in the desired condition, and he ran only ten races in the two years. Daly always considered him a horse of good class. Francis Nelson la Toronto Globe.
