NOTES OF AUSTRALIAN RACING. The chestnut horse Kingsburgh, by. Wallace-Alexandra, winner of the Melbourne Cup in 1911, has been sold privately in Melbourne, and it is understood will be used for stud purposes. The first prize in the Melbourne Cup was worth 4,775, and the percentage of the jockey, to ley, was ,730. The Victoria Derby was worth 4, lOo, and the jockeys percentage 715. The Maribyrnong Plate was worth 8,730, and the jockey s percentage 430.
