IT WAS FAVORITE DAY AT HAVANA. Four Well-Backed Choices Score at Oriental Park Goodman Wins Twice. Havana. Cuba, December 23. J. H. Goodman accounted for two races at Oriental Park this afternoon, when Edmond Adams and Liberator got home in front of their opponents in the second and fourth races respectively. Both were excellently ridden by the well known "bush" rider Charles Gore, who is in good form just now. Three strong favorites and the well-backed Scor-pii, which was equal choice with Runway and Father Kelley, were successful, while Edmond Adams wns held 4 to 1, with the result that the talent had a real good day of it. Hall made too much use of Refugee in the second race and the same may be said of Wards riding of Father Kelly in the last race. Silver Bill and Liberator are both by the St. Simon stallion Planudes, which was sent to Australia from the United States. i i i I I ! i ! ,
