4 4, j WHAT THE J. W. GOLDBLATT HORSES DID E0R THEIR OWNER IN THE RACING 0? THIS YEAR One of the many useful horses bred by Mr. A. H. Sprcckels and sent east for sale proved the best money winner racing for J. W. Goldblatt in 191G. He had an industrious campaign of twenty-six races and won money in fifteen of them. The speedy two-year-old Iiroomstick lilly. Matin, was second in the important matter of money earned, while Aldebaran, Royal Interest. Bullion and First Degree each turned in something in excess of ,000. Hullion was a two-year-old from which more service was expected than was rendered. Unless the reports of his real excellence were not well founded lie may do better as a three-year-old. His sire is one of the best-bred horses imported in recent years and his dam a speedy mare. The record of the stable for the year is: Horse. Col. and Sex. A. Pedigree. 1st. 2d. 3d. Won. Sosius br. g. 5 Hy Solitaire II.
