DEMONSTRATION AT JUAREZ. Placing of Lone Star in the Third Race Does Not Meet with Public Favor. El Paso. Tex.. January 3. — The close finish in the third race today brought forth the first demonstration of the meeting. The spectators, being at an angle, took exception to the judges placing of Lane Star second, he being on the outside. White clearly threw the race away, as he had it won a dozen feet from the wire.
