NEW HOKSE ASSOCIATION EMBLEMS. New Orleans, La.. January 3. — The new buttons of the Thoroughbred Horse Association are being worn by some of the members here. Each paid his 1917 dues. 0. before receiving the button. The opinion expressed by some of the members of the association is that the dues are far too heavy. The objectors think that the annual dues shouid be reduced by one-half. The buttons are of gold and blue enamel with "Thoroughbred Horse Association" around a horses head upon their face. A Lexington jeweler designed and manufactured the pins, which are extremely good looking and well proportioned.
