CRACK JUMPER SY0SSET II. MAY RACE AGAIN At the offices of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association Frank J. Bryan had good news to report from Itrookdale Farm at Red Bank. N. J., where Mrs. Whitneys Grientree Stable of jumpers are being wintered. Trainer Owens reports that Syosset II.. winner of the Whitney Memorial last year, and which fell lame soon after that race, had come around and looks as if he would train on to race another season. Syosset II. was one of the best jumpers seen during the past season, and he will be welctnned back under colors. Trainer Owens also reported that he expected to make a fair jumper of Slipshod, a 4-year-old gelding by Burgomaster Slipper-*.
