+ — " + ! WHAT THE WICKLIFFE STABLES RICHLY BRED TWO-YEAR-OLDS | I EFFECTED IN LAST YEARS RACING 4, 4, The Wiekliffe Stable did not measure importantly in our racing of last year. Probably it will in the future, deserves to because it is built on the right foundation of good blood and liberal outlay. Last year its only successes were achieved by its two-year-olds, of which it raced eleven. Of these the two Hurst Park geldings. Passing Fancy and Feliciilnd. did best in money winning ami were more than useful racers. Probably more was expected from liasil than was realized, but he ran some food races against select opposition and may turn out to be a good three-year-old. His half-brother. Castle-ton, was mite a tine race horse in England and the winner of several stake races there. Mida. half-sister to the crack racer. Luke Mcl.uke. won her first race, but was unplaced in her other two essays. She is wll enough bred to do anything. Of the three four-year-olds in the stable, only Coquette won any money and she but little. The record of tin- stable was: Horse. Col. and Sex. A. Pedigree. 1st. St. 3d. Won.
