FRENCH HORSES TO RACE IN ENGLAND. There seems good reason to hope that we shall have a consielerable number of Preach horses over here during the coining flat-racing season, for the list of names registered incluele-s a half douen three-year -olds and as many two-yi-ar-oleL. the property of the- Due Dccazes. whose colors will be welcomed on our race- courses. Certificates of pedigree had already been lodged for several horses bred in France and owned by apt. Col.n. who. I am in the position to say. Intends racing on a considerable se-ale- in England, the only difficulty being the eiuestion of transport, and we may rest assured that this will be minimized as far as possible by tin- French authorities, apt. Colin, as a member e f the Stock Exchange-, was always keenly Interested in the turf, and during the past year or two has acquired a large stud in France, drawn in some measure from M. Edmonel Planes stuel. and since that geiitlme-ans temporary retirement the- English owner has engaged Denman to take charge of his horses in France. There sre about eighty of them at the magnificent Ch.unant establishment formerly owned by the late M. Le--fevre. for Whom years ago the Jennings father ami son. trained Pact rasf idly at Nesnsnurket. Denman has a gre-at reputation as a master of his art. and he won for M.
