TWO HAVANA RIDERS IN DIRE TROUBLE. McEwen and Watts Ruled Off for a Grave Violation of Racing Law at Oriental Park. Havana. Cuba. March 1. — The stewards of the Cuba -American Jockey Tub. after a lengthy investigation, handed out the following ruling before the races tins aftiinoiii: "Jsckeyi B. McBarea an I R. Watts have had their licenses revokes this day. March 1. 1917. for attempting fraud, and th I denied further privileges of tin course by tic Cuba-American Jockey Club." McEwen and Watts are said to have approached -ome other rich rs in an attempt to have tlnm cooperate in "fixing" race,.
