Mac- n Dowell was awarded the handsome silver service tj for winning the Cincinnati Trophy with his mare t Amtrica. John W. Schorr vowed then and there r. that a similar service was going to grace 1 1n- table 0 over which he presided, so he has named eleven j It colts and fillies to go in this event, which is one of of the richest two-year -old race* run in America. s This is the largest individual entry list received t for this race since its inception. Ten of Schorrs t nominees arc American breds, only one being an jj Impacted colt. E. R. Bradley would not be averse to having this trophy in his Idle Hour farm a a house ami he nominated seven to it. Corrigan ft McKinney have also nominated seven and George r J. Long has entered five. In all llfl colts and v fillies have been named to go in this race.
