GEORGE D. WIDENERS RACING STABLE. Score of Horses of English and French Breeding in Care of A. J. Joyner May Prove Troublesome. By Ed Cole. New York. April 17. — A stable or horses that might prove troublesome to beat is that of Ocotgt D. Widencr. who has nearly a score of horses in the hands of A. J. Joyner, a trainer of undoubted ability. About four-fifths of the band are Imported from English and French establishments. Like al! tralacrt in the early spring, Mr. Joyner can say little about his horses any more than they look well and are promising. Both are so well known to racegoers that they need little ini reduction. Joyner, who also trains Thomas I*. Ryans thoroughbreds, has two three-year-olds that will cut; the colors of the Oakridge Stable in his barn. Harveat King, the chestnut son of Sea King Mum, has developed into a fine-looking colt, while Sea Wave, the daughter of Sea King— Fairy Bird, is a worthy stable mate.
