WARLIKE NAMES GIVEN RACEHORSES. The war is having an effect on the nomenclature of our racehorses, says the Lom.on Daily aim. I notice in yesterdays races at Newmarket that a Dawn of Peace, an Armageddon and a Barrage ran in the Granny Plate, a two-year-old race. Reprisal, Irish Recruit. The Revenge were among the runners in the Babraham Plate. Lord of the Sea was entered in the Severals Stakes and Vhuy in the Wood Ditton Stokes.
