BEAM8TBESB began slowly and raced wide, but flushed fast and gamely. IRCNKS raced under hard pressure throughout and finished on the inside in the deepest going. WINSOMVERA tired badly in the last eighth. STARRY BANNER and NELSWEEP were eased up when htatSB. ALL BBIGHT clood an immense gap. PRECISE raced in the b-st going for the entire way and took the lead when entering the h iatreteh, but tired slightly in the closing strides. EI BONO ran a fairly good race. KILTS was knocked back on the turn, but came around the lenders and finished fast. POLLY .L set a good pace, but quit badlv. STARTLING could never get up. GENESIS showed speed for a half mile. Won ridden out; second and third driving. ONICO. after racing in close pursuit of TOP COAT, responded gamely when called on in the final eighth and outstayed him in the final drive. TOP COAT appeared high In flesh and showed excellent speed, but attempted to run out when rounding the last turn and tired in the final drive as if short. LITTLE DEVIL gained steadily under hard riding and the race should improve him. HIGH OLYMPUS showed speed and was eased up in the homestretch. Overweights — Top Coat. 1% pounds; High Olympus, 1.
